A website that works is
worth more than one
that just looks good.

WordPress web design and development for small businesses. Mobile-ready, SEO-optimized, and built to convert visitors into leads.

A website that looks great in a screenshot but doesn’t get found, load fast, or turn visitors into leads isn’t doing its job. I build sites that do all three. They are built to convert, not just to look good.

Web design is the service most businesses think they need first, and they’re usually right. A website is your most controllable piece of digital real estate: you own it, you control the message, and it’s the thing every other marketing effort points back to.

But a site that isn’t fast, accessible, mobile-ready, and built with a real conversion path in mind isn’t an asset. It’s a liability. I design and develop on WordPress with Divi Builder. Every site I build is structured for SEO from the ground up, accessible to all users, and designed around the real goal, whether that’s booking inquiries, product purchases, or service leads.

What Web Design Actually Means Here

Web design at Greymoor Interactive isn’t template customization. It’s a ground-up build designed around your brand, your audience, and the specific action you want visitors to take. A lot of web design stops at visual. The page looks polished in a browser screenshot, gets handed off, and that’s it. What gets left out: how it loads on a phone, how Google reads it, whether the contact form actually sends, and whether anyone who visits can find what they came for.

At Greymoor, web design means the whole thing. Visual design, development, accessibility, performance, content structure, and the strategy behind all of it. Built on WordPress with Divi Builder, a platform that gives you real control over your own site without needing a developer every time you want to change a sentence.

What Web Design Includes

Full Site Design & Development

Custom design built around your brand, developed on WordPress with Divi Builder. Every page is designed to serve a specific purpose, not just to exist. Mobile-responsive, accessibility-conscious, and built to convert from the start, not retrofitted after the fact.

E-Commerce Development

WooCommerce-based online stores for physical products, digital downloads, or service bookings. Built to sell, not just display. Product pages, checkout flow, payment processing integration, and inventory management are set up to actually sell.

U

SEO Foundation

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) structure is built into the site from day one. Clean URL (Uniform Resource Locator) architecture, proper heading hierarchy, meta fields, schema markup, image optimization, and site speed.
The foundation that makes everything else work.

Web Hosting Setup & Maintenance

Hosting configuration, domain connection, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), and the technical groundwork that makes a site actually function. Not all hosting is equal, so I personally host all the websites I build. I’ll set you up with what actually makes sense for your site’s size, traffic, and performance needs.

Accessibility

Sites built to WCAG accessibility standards — alt text, contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility. Not a checklist item added at the end. Part of how the site is built from the start.

Ongoing Maintenance

Plugin updates, security monitoring, backups, and performance checks with regular SEO updates for clients who want to stay current without managing the technical side themselves. I also do a yearly SEO audit in March to help you stay current with SEO best practices.

Content Management

Documentation with training so you can confidently manage and update your own content after launch. You shouldn’t need to call or hire someone every time you update a service description, change a photo, or update your hours.

Accessible, mobile-ready websites that convert. WordPress with Divi Builder, e-commerce builds, and ongoing site management designed around your goals, not a template.

This Is for You If Your Website
Isn’t Working the Way It Should.

"

Web design at Greymoor varies significantly and makes sense if you’re starting fresh and want a site built right the first time, or if you have an existing site that was built years ago and isn’t performing well, slow, outdated, hard to update, or just not converting visitors into anything useful.

Maybe you’re scaling an e-commerce operation and have outgrown your current platform. All three are valid starting points.

It’s also the right fit for businesses that have grown past their current site. What worked at launch doesn’t always work at scale. If your site was built years ago and the business it represents has moved on, that gap is costing you.

It’s not the right fit if you’re looking for a templated site at the lowest possible price point. That work exists, it’s just not what we do.

How to Know if Web Design is Right for You?

  • You have no website, or your current site was built on a free platform that no longer fits the business
  • Your site looks fine on desktop, but breaks on mobile, where most of your traffic is coming from
  • You’re running paid ads to a site that isn’t converting, and you’re paying for traffic that goes nowhere
  • You can’t update your own site without calling a developer
  • Your site isn’t showing up in Google for anything relevant to your business
  • You’re launching an e-commerce store and need it built to actually sell

How a Web Design Engagement Works.

1. Questionnaire

Every engagement starts with a written questionnaire. It’s not busywork; it’s the information that lets me show up to our first conversation with something useful to say. It covers your business, your audience, your competition, and your vision. This is how I build context before we talk, so our first conversation is strategic, not introductory.

4. Design and Development

I design and build in stages, with check-ins at key points. You’ll see the layout, the hierarchy, and the visual direction before a single line of code is written. You review, give feedback, and we move forward. The site is built in WordPress with Divi Builder in a staging environment, so nothing goes live until it’s ready. You’ll have access to a staging environment so you can review the work in progress without it affecting your live site.

2. Discovery Call

Once I’ve reviewed your questionnaire and website, we’ll schedule a video call or an in-person if we are local. We discuss your goals and needs, what is immediate and necessary to start, and what you like. What you don’t like,  what can wait, as well as any wants or wish list items you want in the future. We discuss scope, timeline, and budget before anything begins.

5. Review & Refinement

Feedback rounds are built into the process. We refine until the design is right, not until a revision limit runs out. You will never feel like you have to settle for a design that is truly not the vision for your business. We test across devices, browsers, and screen sizes. Accessibility and speed checks are part of the process before anything goes live. Your designs say where you are going. Not where you are.

3. Scope & Strategy

Every project starts with a clear brief & proposal of what the deliverable is, where it’s going, who’s going to see it, and what it needs to communicate. We define the full project pages, features, and content responsibilities. We also confirm the scope, timeline, and budget before any work starts. No ambiguity or surprises on either side.

6. Launch & Handoff

Site goes live. We test contact forms and plugins in the live environment to make sure there are no issues. You get training on how to manage content, documentation for common updates, and a clear point of contact if something needs attention or issues that arise after launch.  We also make sure everything is connected, and you know how to access — analytics, search console, the works.

REAL-WORLD CONTEXT

B&K Coding and Billing in Anchorage needed a website that communicated over 40 years of combined healthcare expertise to the medical practices that needed their services, starting from no web presence at all. The site Greymoor built gave them a professional foundation, a Google Business Profile, and a clear path to being found by the right clients in Alaska’s healthcare market.

Let’s build something worth landing on.

The cost to build a Website

A five-page informational site and a full e-commerce build are not the same project. Pricing is scoped to what you actually need. I don’t offer packages that pad the price with services you won’t use.

Clear estimate before work begins. Flexible payment plans available. Ongoing maintenance is priced as a monthly retainer for clients who want it.

Common questions about Web design services at Greymoor Interactive.

Do you build on platforms other than WordPress?

WordPress with Divi Builder is my primary platform; it’s what I’ve built on for years and what I know inside and out. For most businesses, it’s the right tool. If your specific situation calls for a different platform, I’ll tell you that honestly in the discovery call. But in my experience, there is always a solution that integrates seamlessly into WordPress, which is why it is my primary platform.

Will I be able to update my own site after launch?

Yes. Every site I build includes training and documentation specific to your site, not a generic tutorial. You’ll know how to update your pages, swap images, add blog posts, and handle the most common changes without needing to call me every time. I also offer retainer options for those who do not want to handle content updates.

What about ongoing maintenance?

I offer ongoing maintenance as a separate engagement for clients who don’t want to manage updates, backups, and security monitoring themselves. This is completely optional; some clients handle it themselves, others prefer to hand it off. This can also include content and SEO if needed.

How long does a website project take?

A standard informational website typically takes six to ten weeks from discovery to launch. E-commerce builds take longer, usually ten to sixteen weeks, depending on product catalog size and complexity. Timelines are always established in the scope agreement before work begins.

Do you offer hosting?

Hosting is included in every site build, not an afterthought you have to figure out separately. Setup, domain connection, and SSL are all handled as part of the project. After launch, hosting is billed on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on your preference.
