The Story Behind
Greymoor Interactive.

I never set out to own a business. The business built itself, one skill
leading to the next, one challenge opening the door to the next capability.
It started with MySpace. And a cancer diagnosis.

Where It Started.

I’ve always been creative. Growing up, I was constantly building something, making something, or figuring out how something worked. That curiosity didn’t go anywhere as I got older; it just found new outlets. In the late ’90s, I discovered early social platforms. But nothing compared to what happened when MySpace arrived.

I could spend hours customizing MySpace profiles. I loved experimenting with layouts, tweaking designs, and fixing broken code, not because I was trying to become a developer, but because it was genuinely fun. Like many people back then, I didn’t realize I was coding. I just loved creating things in code and figuring out what to do when they broke.

THE TURNING POINT

Then came the moment that shifted everything. A close friend needed flyers for a fundraiser supporting her cancer treatment and her American Cancer Society Relay for Life team, both digital and print. She didn’t know how to use the software. I didn’t either, but I was willing to learn to help her. That’s when I created my first digital and print design in Adobe Photoshop. Less than two years later, I used those same skills to design posters for my own cancer treatment fundraiser.

“I realized I’d been coding on MySpace all along.”

COLLEGE

In the middle of treatment, I decided to go back to college and pursue a formal education in graphic design. I wanted to sharpen my skills, fully develop my talent, and escape corporate life.

It wasn’t until my first web design class that I realized I’d been coding on MySpace all along. I laughed at the full-circle moment, then chose to focus on interactive media and web development. In my second year, I designed a poster for my American Cancer Society Relay for Life cancer survivor team as a class project.

I hadn’t been officially told I was in remission yet, but I already felt like a survivor. Not long after the event and the confirmation that I was in remission, people started approaching me to design invitations, posters, and logos for local businesses. That work became steady. So I made it official and started a business called Chris-Tina Moore Designs.

GREYMOOR Interactive

My third year of college was my graduation project. I was required to build an entire brand from scratch: name, brand guide, logo system, and a fully functional website.

That project earned me my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic and Web Design with a concentration in Interactive Media and Web Development. It also clarified something bigger; I wasn’t just a graphic designer or just a web designer. I was both. So I made Greymoor Interactive official. What started as freelance work expanded as I kept learning.

My services grew. My vision grew. And that’s how a one-person shop built in Phoenix, Arizona, became a full-service digital marketing agency, not because I planned it that way, but because every experience led naturally to the next.

Learning New Skills Was
Never the Hard Part.

After graduation, I felt uncertain. I had a wide range of skills, including graphic design, web design, development, and marketing, in an overcrowded industry that felt like a liability. I questioned whether I needed to narrow down to one title to be taken seriously. I felt scattered. I felt like an imposter. A week after graduating, I was hired as a WordPress developer for Sleep EZ. Within days, I became their entire design and marketing department. It was overwhelming. It was also the thing that changed how I saw myself.

“What I’d been trying to hide was the thing that made me useful.”

What I had always thought of as ‘too many skills’ turned out to be the exact combination their business needed. I wasn’t just creative; I understood the technical side. I wasn’t just a designer; I could think like a marketer. And my corporate background made both sharper. The thing I’d been trying to hide was the thing that made me useful.

As my own business evolved, that same question resurfaced: how do I position this? I noticed early on that brands struggled to find someone who could seamlessly connect design and strategy. Designers weren’t always strategic, and marketers weren’t always visual. My Sleep EZ experience had shown me I was both. It just took time and confidence to fully own it.

What once felt like not fitting into a box became the very thing that set me apart. I can’t build my career by narrowing myself down to a single title. I have to own the intersection of everything I bring to the table. That’s what Greymoor Interactive is: the intersection of creative, technical, and strategic. Not because I planned it that way, but because that’s what I am.

What Greymoor Interactive

Is Here to Do.

Greymoor Interactive doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all. I take the time to get to know you as an individual so I can truly understand the vision behind your business. I research the market, analyze the competition, and develop strategies intentionally designed for you to succeed. The result isn’t just a polished business, it’s a brand that knows who it is, communicates that clearly, and grows with intention.

My mission is to make business and marketing strategy accessible to everyone, not just the businesses with the biggest budgets. I believe every business, whether just starting or well established, deserves the tools and expertise to grow on their own terms.

The brands I work with aren’t clients, they’re partners. That word matters. We’re building something meaningful and sustainable together, and it only works when there’s real collaboration and real trust. Every brand is unique, even within the same industry. Purpose, values, voice, and vision differ from one business to the next, and they should. I focus on what makes you distinct, help uncover your voice, clarify your purpose, and build a strategy that supports long-term growth.

The Greymoor Interactive Logo. The logo is a triangle split in two. The top half is blue grey like the sky and the bottom is light grey in the shape of Denali mountain in Alaska. The space between the two pieces is the shape of the mountain. Greymoor is written below in a script font in blue grey like the sky above with Interactive written in all capitals in dark grey underneath in a san serif font.

The Story Behind the Logo.

Every brand story starts with the logo, and Greymoor Interactive is no different. The logo came out of my graduation project, the same project that turned a business name into a real brand.

I needed something that meant something. Not just looked good. The centerpiece is Denali Mountain. Not chosen randomly, Denali is the highest peak in North America, and it represents what I want for every brand I work with: resilience, ambition, and the drive to reach the highest version of what you can be. The sky above the mountain converges into a triangle, which represents direction, focus, and the continuous movement toward growth.

The palette is deliberate. Blue-grey for trust, depth, and creativity. Dark grey for the solid foundation we provide in an unpredictable space. Light grey for the clean, modern approach. White for clarity and transparency because I believe in telling clients what’s true, not just what they want to hear.

The logo is a reminder of the mission: help businesses reach their peak, whatever that looks like for them. Just as Denali stands as a symbol of strength and endurance, Greymoor Interactive is here to help your brand rise and stand out.

Meet the Creativity Behind Greymoor Interactive

A close up photo of the Greymoor Interactive founder Chris-Tina "T" Moore. She is wearing a black head wrap with glasses, a black and grey skull scarf, and a black shirt. She lived in Phoenix, AZ for over 21 years before she relocated to Tulsa, OK in 2021.

Chris-Tina ‘T’ Moore founded Greymoor Interactive in Phoenix, Arizona, in April 2017, one month before graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic and Web Design, with a concentration in Interactive Media and Web Development. The agency officially expanded to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2021.

Her path into this industry was anything but linear, starting with MySpace profile customizations, moving through self-taught design, a cancer diagnosis, a formal education, a corporate stint that revealed her full range of skills, and the slow realization that the breadth of what she could do wasn’t a weakness. It was the entire point. (The full story is above, if you haven’t read it yet.)

She continues to grow through industry events and webinars, HubSpot certifications, and staying hands-on with the tools her clients actually use. She also runs a custom apparel company alongside the agency, which keeps her design instincts sharp and gives her a first-hand perspective on what it actually takes to run an e-commerce brand.

Outside of client work, Chris-Tina is working on a baking and cooking blog built on one principle: the basics shouldn’t be intimidating. It’s a personal project that happens to sharpen the same skills she uses every day: content creation, audience clarity, and knowing how to talk to people who are learning something new.
